Campsite Review: Hood Park Campground is east of Kennewick/Pasco, Washinton north of the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 124 on the east side of the Snake River.
Hood Park is an Army Corps of Engineers Park.
Hood Park is a wonderful campsite. It is very open, with lots of grass, trees, and a good view of the Snake River. The west side of the Snake River is industrial and has some occasional noises associated with moving ships.

Observations
Campsite Review: Hood Park Campground insider info:
Hood Park is nearly perfect. The only thing lacking at the park is full hookups. The place is well laid out with plenty of space between spots. It has more than ample grass between the sites.
Some sites are short and others are steep. Be careful on-site selection if you have a big RV. Generally, back-in sites in the north loop are best for larger RVs. Pull through sites are curved, which makes for easy access for towed RVs but the curve can be too tight for some big Class-A RVs.
Bonus
To the east, there are nature trails and some small fishing lakes. The boat launch is available near the entrance.
