Campsite Review: Riverfront Campground — Sedro-Woolley Riverfront RV Park is in northwest Washington about halfway between Seattle and Bellingham. The park is operated by the city of Sedro-Woolley and as the name states the park is along the Skagit River. It is just to the south of the city and part of a developed city park. The park includes picnic areas, ball fields, and river access via a boat launch.
Except for the boat launch, there is no river access for water play or fishing.
The Riverfront Park is the site of the Independence Day Loggerodeo. This festival would have packed the park all weekend, including the RV Park, and would have been the site of the Sedro-Woolley Fireworks display. Sadly due to the COVID 19 virus social distancing guidelines, every part of the festivities, except the parade was canceled.
Here is our blog post about our stay in Northwest Washington.

Observations
Campsite Review: Riverfront Campground insider info:
Despite the appearance on the satellite view back-in sites, #1 – 8 would offer more privacy than any of the pull-through sites. The design of the pull-through sites is so that they share a common power pole and water hook up.
We were in site # 12 and had the park almost to ourselves except for the host. A few more people filtered in just before Independence Day.
We had to position the power-pole between our slides to have enough room while we were centered in the spot. All the sites are tight enough that our awning was un-usable due to the location of the tree. It was obvious that the park was designed before RVs had slide outs.
River Road is not frequently used and thus road noise was not an issue.
