Campsite Review: Tonopah Banc Club Casino “Campground” (closed during our stay overnight, gravel parking lot). Tonopah Nevada, to avoid confusion. The Banc Club is located just north of Highway 95 just north of the downtown area in Tonopah. The Banc Club offers truck and RV parking in their dirt lot without charge.
Tonopah Nevada is located at the intersection of Highway 95 and Highway 6 in western Nevada at least 100 miles from any sizeable city in any direction.
I am thankful that the Banc Club allows RVs to share their parking lot for quick overnight stays.

Observations
Campsite Review: Tonopah Banc Club Casino “Campground” insider info:
There is not much to say because this is a free parking lot to the west of the Banc Club Casino. Currently, RVs and semi-trucks spend the night here and frequent the casino.
This is a very dry part of Nevada, little rainfall, and perhaps even less snowfall. Wind and dust can be an issue.
Road noise was not a problem due to the low, in-town speed limit and lack of traffic.
I cannot comment on the casino, because it was closed due to the COVID virus when we stayed there.
We were nearly alone during our stay. Two other RVs and one truck stopped when we were there.
In an RV I would suggest arriving early, before dark, and parking along the west edge of the parking lot.
Bonus
The number one bonus is that it is a short walk to downtown Tonopah. When taking a walk, you can observe the previous mining history of the city which is displayed (scattered in some areas right where it was discarded). Still, it is cool to look at. Some of the relics are even displayed right in front of the casino.
It is free and right next to the road.
Amazing Article! I look forward to the latest one.
