Campsite Review: Leaf Verde Campground is located in Buckeye Arizona just south of Interstate 10 and west of Yuma Road southwest of Phoenix.
The easiest way to get to Leaf Verde RV is to exit Interstate 10 and go south on Miller Road then turn east on Durango Road. Follow Durango Road around the curve and the name changes to Yuma Road. Then turn south on South Apache Road. Turn right on Leaf Verde Road to enter the park. At the entrance, there are multiple parking spots for check-in.
Leaf Verde RV is one of the Sun RV Resorts they have multiple RV parks scattered throughout the country and Canada.

Observations
Campsite Review: Leaf Verde Campground insider info:
Request a location other than right across from the pickleball court. Games at the pickleball court start promptly every day at 9 am every day. If you want to stay when Baseball Spring Training is in session make sure to book your spot well in advance.
The very middle of the park is the center of the non-smoking section.
Don’t expect any shade in the park, I counted one tree that had the ability to create shade.
The sites gradually get smaller the further west in the park you park. The activities center includes a laundry room and showers. The propane refill is at the exit.
